One of Alexia's ultrasound pictures was such a treasure. It was her sucking her thumb in utero. So, it was no surprise that she quickly became a thumb sucker. It was a tough habit to break, but 7 years and an orthodontist later, it's done. We strongly encouraged Caleb with a passie in order not to have such a hard split with the thumb. We lost. However, he is only 3 1/2 and is already giving up the thumb with encouragement. Now, I submit sweet Lydia. We bought many different types of passifiers for the little babe to choose which one pleased her. At 14 weeks, to our dismay it is apparent which device she perfers. Below is the evidence of passy out, thumb in. So that leaves our score Parents 0, kids 3.

Oh man! So cute! We have a little finger sucker in our house.
Look at it this way: she can console herself!!!!
Aunt Betty says....awwww! She looks so peaceful! Surely did enjoy seeing ALL of you last weekend....will probably be happening more and more now that Meghann & Steve & Girls are in Georgia. Reagan enjoyed playing with Alexia.
Hugs & kisses to all.
Yay for thumbsuckers! We're 2 for 4 here... I love the one of Lydia feeling the back of her head and sucking her thumb. So sweet.
You'll have to email your best advice for getting Alexia's 6 year old cousin to stop sucking her fingers at night!
